What a brilliant afternoon! I have an almost 3yr old and a 6yr old, they both had a fantastic time in the swimming pool and slide area! My 6yr old enjoyed the Atlantis giant float course with her Daddy and my 3yr old had so much fun blasting everyone with water and independently going down the little slides! Wasn’t over crowded, felt clean and safely manned by plenty of life guards. Lots of showers, lockers and changing rooms! Few family change rooms and smaller ones, you can still fit a family in the non family change rooms. Hairdryers which are FREE, so no issue of having to bring extra change for them as-well as the lockers! £1 locker, pretty standard for any swimming centres. Staff were all friendly from reception to life guards! Felt clean throughout bar a few bits caused by customers. Wasn’t any trouble letting the staff know of any faults, that were dealt with straight away! My only suggestion is having the swimwear shakers to rinse water out before packing to go home, apart from that brill! Parking FREE 3 hours, make sure you input your car registration at RECEPTION! What an excellent facility to have in Derby! Thumbs up 👍

I've really enjoyed using the new building so far, the pool facilities are good and the booking system usually means that it isn't over crowded. The gym has all the equipment you could want and depending what time you go it's usually very easy to use the equipment you want. I haven't tried any of the classes yet but from the app they offer a wide range throughout the day. The water park is also a lot of fun! There's only a couple of downsides for me. The male changing rooms on the gym floor are very small and there is only one (open) shower which I don't like. Also, while the locker keys work well for the pool area (wrist strap keys) I don't think these work well for the gym floor. Seems pointless carrying a large key around with you. Something like a padlock door might have been better but it's not too big an issue. When I have interacted with staff they are friendly and helpful. I have a membership now, but at first I used the pay as you go. While the pay as you go is more expensive it's definitely worth it to try the facilities out or if you use the gym infrequently.

Relatively new and brilliant swimming and gym facilities ,very modern and clean ,much better than the old ones. There is a 50m Olympic poolcan ve separated into three 25m pools with varous different depth and activities for kids and adults,lessons ,teaching pool,water park with 3 slides,sauna ,steam room and even play areas for kids. Would definitely recommend for all ages and swimming ability and very family friendly However,must book in advance.

My son loves the main soft play but it has a counter and there is NEVER anyone there serving drinks. You can’t leave your child alone and go to the other cafe and bring a drink back unless there’s more than one adult so discriminating single parents. It’s not competing with other soft plays very well that have restaurants or at least have refreshments to buy. Needs a re-think else I’d rather travel further for a better softplay where I can at least not feel dehydrated.

Honest review-customer service is really bad, Receptionist Jee (I think her name was) is very helpful! It Was my sons first day with swimming, Didn’t get any help, he wasn’t even booked on even though I had paid. So wasn’t happy. Young girl standing at the beginner pool really needs training towards customers! Other than that it’s a lovely place 🥴😊 No one around to help, Shouldn’t be about reeling customers in only. I’m giving a 3* because the cafe seating and pools are nice.
